The Hrant Dink Foundation was established in 2007 in Istanbul, following the assassination of Hrant Dink — a prominent Turkish-Armenian journalist, editor, and human rights activist. The foundation's mission is to promote a culture of dialogue, empathy, and peace, to combat discrimination, and to foster mutual understanding between peoples in Turkey, Armenia, and beyond.

It engages in research, documentation, publications, education, and cultural activities — including memory work related to the Armenian Genocide, minority rights, and freedom of expression.
